Passports and Documents
All visitors to Israel must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date they enter the State of Israel. People with no nationality must hold a valid travel document, as well as a visa back to the country that issued it.
Passport holders from these countries NEED a visa for entry into Israel:
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Belarus
Georgia
Iran
Kazakhstan
Kyrgyzstan
Moldova
Russia
Syria
Tajikistan
Turkmenistan
Uzbekistan
Passport holders from these countries DO NOT NEED a visa for entry into Israel:Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
PLEASE NOTE: Obtaining the visa takes a while and it can take up to 3 WEEKS or even more to process a visa application.
To get a visa for Israel, the participants must do the following:
(1). Passport holders from the countries listed in RED must apply in person at the nearest Israeli consulate in order to obtain a visa for entry into Israel.
(2). You must have a valid passport or a travel document that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of the intended visit to Israel.
(3). You must bring with them a confirmation letter of participation from Birthright. To receive it, please send a request for it by email to: information@birthrightisrael.com
Stating your full name and trip date in that email.
(4). You must also bring a copy of your Green Card OR a valid re-entry visa to the United States. To receive it, please send a request for it by email to: info@sachlav.com
Stating your full name and trip date in that email.
(5). You must also bring evidence of health insurance.
