Registration Secrets!
Some secrets to make your registration simple and successful.
1. Register On the First Day - Do not wait until another day, as demand for trips is always high high high! On the first hours of registration you should expect delays and problems with registration engine. DO NOT DESPAIR ... hang in there and keep trying every few minutes until you finish the registration process.
Register directly from www.IsraelontheHouse.com. You'll see a Register Now button. Click it and get going!
Registration dates are:
> Past applicants can register on Feb. 16 at 12 Noon EST directly from IsraelontheHouse.com
> New applicants can register on Feb. 17, at 12 Noone EST from IsraelontheHouse.com
2. Past Applicants MUST use SAME EMAIL - Applicants who applied in past rounds must log in to the registration engine with the SAME email you originally provided in your past application with Taglit-Birthright Israel. If you do not remember it, or it is no longer active, click this link and submit your information: https://register.birthrightisrael.com/forgotpass.cfm. (Make sure to add @birthrightisrael.com to your email system's "safe sender" list, otherwise you might find the email in your spam box.) If your past application was with Sachlav/IsraelontheHouse.com, send us an email or call us and we will email it to you right away. NOTE: We will send it to the email with which you originally applied in the past.
3. The $250 Refundable Trip Deposits Must Be Paid During Registration- Make sure you have a credit card available to pay your fully refundable $250 trip deposit as required by Taglit-Birthright Israel. You must pay this during registration. This is true even if you applied in the past.
4. Passport Info - You'll need a passport to travel, but you DO NOT need passport info to register. Just skip this step and register ... you can always put the information in later. In the meantime, learn about who needs a visa and/or apply for a USA passport right now.
5. Safe Senders - Mark the following emails as "Safe Senders" so you get all critical registration info and confirmations. If you don't, critical emails might end up in the spam box, and you'll miss out!
