About 15 years ago someone told someone else at Sachlav Tours about this incredible idea to give away free trips to Israel to every awesome Jewish young adult out there, and well, that’s when IsraelontheHouse was born! Since then we’ve become one of the largest and most sought after Birthright Israel trip providers, bringing thousands of young travelers to Israel every year. All along, we’ve had one simple goal – to bring Jews together -. Jews from all backgrounds, streams and perspectives unifying them in love for the magnificent Land of Israel. As a side note, Sachlav has been running organized tours to Israel for the past 30 years. Woah! 30 years of experience all mashed up into one epic itinerary just for you.
Birthright Israel provides the gift of free peer group trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. The program was founded in order to unite, inspire and empower the Jewish world’s connection to Israel, intensify the sense of solidarity among world Jewry, and to strengthen participants’ personal Jewish identity and connection to the Jewish people.
Birthright Israel is an innovative partnership between the people of Israel through the Government of Israel, private philanthropists through the Birthright Israel Foundation and Jewish communities around the world (North American Jewish Federations, Keren Hayesod, and The Jewish Agency for Israel).
